A restaurant in the woods north of Copenhagen.

The project

Beautiful settings for weddings, birthdays, festive gatherings and meetings, since 1854.

The approach

Studenterkilden has stood at the edge of the forest north of Copenhagen since 1854, a whitewashed inn built around an old spring. The brief was to carry that age into a site that still works like a modern booking tool. We built the experience around a promise the house already makes: it is always yours alone.

The layout gives photography room to breathe. Wide, uncropped images of the half-timbered facade, the greenhouse and the sunlit meeting room sit against generous white space, with a high-contrast serif carrying the headlines. Rather than one flat overview, the house is split into the three ways guests actually arrive: An Evening at Studenterkilden, Meeting Facilities, and Group Events. A wedding enquiry and a Tuesday board meeting never read as the same offer.

Booking stays one tap away without shouting. A single warm CTA follows the scroll into the DinnerBooking flow, while a long-form FAQ answers the questions that decide a venue: parking, capacity, dietary requests, getting there without a car. The site runs bilingually on Webflow CMS, so the team can update seasonal ingredients, packages and menus themselves.
